What's New in 2023?

Great Falls and Butte residents will see significant changes to the Cherokee's trims and powertrains for the 2023 model year. Now, this model is only available in two trims, Altitude Lux and Trailhawk. The 271-hp V-6 has also been replaced, and in its place is a 270-hp turbocharged 2.7-liter inline-four-cylinder that's exclusive to the off-road-ready Trailhawk. As for the Altitude Lux, this model now comes standard with leather seats, a heated steering wheel, and a remote start.

Performance

The Altitude Lux trim for the Jeep Cherokee is powered by a 2.4-liter 180-hp inline-four engine. Though the Trailhawk utilizes a 2.0-liter 270-hp model. Both models are paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission and come standard with all-wheel drive.

Your fuel economy will differ depending on your chosen model. The 2.4-liter model is estimated to get around 21/29 mpg, while the 2.0-liter engines gets an estimated 20/26 mpg.

Technology

The Cherokee's cabin is comfortable and functional, with supportive seats and easy-to-use tech. By using Jeep's Uconnect infotainment system, the standard 8.4-inch touchscreen is well-organized and has an ample number of features. And every Cherokee model also has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a subscription-based Wi-Fi hotspot.
